The first page of a, not such great, Animated "Othello" character development series. (There's a random, uncolored, foot in a boot *
This is Iago - The evil doer in the story, for those of you that don't know. He turned out OKAY as just a character, but as being Iago, he turned out horribly in my opinion. I would've liked to have had more time to create and deal with these characters, so they wouldn't have turned out all rushed and "first sketch, final product".
But oh well; my glasses died while I was drawing the pics and it was just an English assignment for school anyway. I had to "create and produce" my own version of Shake Speare's Othello; I had to explain the lighting, and show the colors, and tell the music I'd use, time and location, and how I'd change it, how I'd show it (stage, movie, nobody except me chose cartoon ), and who I'd cast to play the (voices of the) characters. I cast alot of them as the voice actors and actresses of the Jak and Daxter series, just because it worked out that way. X3
Characters "cartoonized" and voice actors/actresses: Iago - Robert Patrick Benedict: JakII & Jak3 ... Vin Othelle - Phil LaMarr: JakII & Jak3 ... Sig, Count Veger | Ozzy & Drix ... Osmosis Jones | Justice League ... John Stewart/Green Lantern II | Samurai Jack ... Samurai Jack | Futurama .... Hermes Conrad/Rev. Lionel Preacherbot/iZac/Additonal Voices Desdemona - Tara Strong: Jak 3 ... Keira, Seem | Teen Titans ... Raven | The Fairly Odd Parents ... Timmy Turner (new version) | The Power Puff Girls ... Bubbles | Little Mermaid II- Return to the sea ... Melody Emilia - The Hunchback of Notre Dame ... Esmeralda | Ghost ... Molly Jensen | Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle ... Madison Lee Cassio - Cutter Mitchell: JakII & Jak3 ... Torn, Jinx Bianca - Susan Eisenberg: JakII & Jak3... Ashelin | Justice League ... Princess Diana/Wonder Woman
I will creat links to all of these later. What I've listed as they're (voice) acting experiences, isn't all that they've done by the way.
Medium:
Prisma color pencils (limited colors mind you), some sort of pen, Mechanial pencil
Wow, thanks.
If you wanna learn how to draw eyes better (believe me, I still have major trouble with doing facial features ) then you should really just, look at people, find a pattenre and specific shapes intehir faces. Where certain things end and begining, and how and were the line and/or meet up with soemthing.
I got that from just looking around at the people in my classes. it's the placement and shape of the nose that sets the stage for everythign in my opinion. And noses can be so hard to do.
So just look at people from all kind of different angles, take a sibliing and make them your modle and pose them however you wish to, and just study them, adn then try drawing it (just a quick sketch, cause you don't want to keep em there forever ) Even if the picture does turn out like crap, you'll be able to remember it WAY better and learn from it and transfer that knowledge of the does and don'ts tot eh next picture you draw of anyones face.
At least that's how it is with me. ...I think. ...
humm...
Well, anyway, thanks again for the comment!
