Well, first thing that pops into mind is this new DA "Portfolio Awesome" that's come about. It's nice, or should I say awesome? Hohoho! See, I'm taking an on-line Animation Portfolio class this summer, in which I'm suppose to create my whole "demo reel package" and include with it all of my contact info, including website URL. That is if I had a web URL that was professional enough for me to want to use, which I didn't until now! Ahahaha! Now, I'm not only going to have a professional and free on-line portfolio but also something relevant to the class to mention in the on-line discussion section. hopefully that will up my points a bit! NOTE: I'm not doin' too good in it right now. >__> mwauhuh.
You all want to know something kind of sad? I was REALLY itching to do some hard core DA stuff daily during the last month of school this past semester. But I wasn't able to fill that want due to finals in the busiest semester I've ever had! Then when it was finally all done and I came home, There was family, friends, and Jim (my man)...HAHA! So, DA fell back onto the messy floor of my brain again. And now that the LOOOOOOOOONG initial fun of being back home is gone along with the majority of vacationing, I'm thinking more about DA and my DA friends and really missing it.
I'm home for the summer and have been for the past two months...Frick! Two months?! That's crazy, I have a month and a halfish left. I barely done any of the art making, sewing, and video game playing that I've wanted to do.
Alright, on to the more fun and/or interesting stuff! 8B
Jim and I got back from a quick 3 day get away to his family cabin, on the Hood Canal, last Friday. It was so nice and beautiful.
The morning after we got back from Jim's family cabin, my dad told me that we were driving down to San Francisco that afternoon to check out a new neighborhood of condos that had just gone on the market the day before. We live in Seattle. My dad can be a bit crazy.
Anyway, I'm rally excited about the place! It's a two bedroom, with two and a half baths, and a two car garage that we will share with the people who will live in the unit above us - it's a Townhouse. I'm most excited about the kitchen and dinning/livingroom area. Dark hardwood floor, plenty of space, a fire place, beautiful kitchen including all large stainless steal appliances, and even a tiny ass little smokers deck!
I'm gonna give a quick list of facts and leave it at that for this journal, I'm tired and this is really long already:
* I have a tone of work to post
* I got three dwarf hamsters a little under two years ago down at school and kept them secret in my dorm by hiding them in the closet. x3 Sadly, two of them have passed away since then.
* Both my sister's got smoky grey colored cats while I was down in Cali this past semester.
* I got a new baby guinea pig a year ago. His name is Smudgemoe, "moe" after my first guinea pig. I love him! He was very timid and I didn't get to see him much since I couldn't take him down to school with me. But he is much better now thanks to my Dad's soft spot for animals.
* Becca is so sweet!
* I've been baking cakes and cooking num nums like a mad woman!
* The live action Dragonball Evolution movie sucked the biggest ass that ever existed! D:< I must discuss this in a later journal, must.
* I made a grape man this evening.
That is all for now. I will filter in some more important facts as they are needed in my coming journals. You all have a good day or evening.
